I missed last nights - I'm just going to listen - I'll be back

Nice to hear that the young Grundy brothers are working together for once !
I'm begining to think Phoebe's boyfriend is an apprentice Rob
I agree, Ric.ror. I thought the same.
Me, too! Will someone please tell Phoebe to get her application in, she can always refuse a place if it is offered (my daughter refused a Cambridge offer). I was simmering and practically yelling at the radio this aft..
I fear this Helen / Rob storyline will be left running to annoy us for months or years now.

I actually hope something comes along to make the situation explode soon.

We don't want another Ruth / Heather type situation draining us for months on end.
I can give you the Arabic for

I blame the CIA !

if that is any help
Probably at Christmas, Hopkirk.
I can't stand it. He's just so awful, and Helen lets him get away with it. I used to laugh when people complained about characters in soaps, saying that it was 'made up', but I'm getting like that now! Do hope that Ed gets some good luck soon. (I've tried not to give away the storyline).
Poor Phoebe, she has upwardly mobile Jennifer and her drippy mother Kate, and now she has this
Rob-clone, it's time for her to get her parents back together for her sanity.

zebo....I wouldn't wish a reunion with the dipsy Kate on my worst enemy, let alone Roy, which is rather nice. After all, it wasn't his fault he succumbed to the siren calls of the tart, otherwise known as Elizabeth !
Bit naughty Mikey - not his fault!?

Well...... a bit I suppose !

Phew! Phoebe's got her application in - well done Dad!
An extra. Pip was reading at Heather's funeral today and it was a rather good poem so I looked it up. It was written by Major Malcolm Boyd who was killed on D-day.

It begins:-
If I should never see the moon again,
Rising, red-gold, above the harvest fields

It's a wonderful poem and possibly should be read everywhere on 11th Nov..
Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Did you follow
The Archers in France?
Yes, indeed, Retrocop. It would be a seismic event to separate me from the Archers for long!. My radio used to go buzzy when the boiler came on - but I persevered!!!
Fantastic good to hear.
A little piece of England in the corner of a foreign land.
That gladdens my heart.
retrocp --- 'night :o0 xx
