Noight jude, I'm going early too.
oight oight girls, its cold here too. Neti I just had clams for tea and they were delicious. Like cockles a bit but better.
Clams are delicious. Mr N has just deboned a leg of lam and made a nutty, datey stuffing type stuffing and roasted it and made lovely veg, and a superb gravy with pomegranite seeds ( from Nigella's cooking prog) absolutely ace! I am defo not needed here either anymore :0(

So cold here and the house is sooo damp, am tucked up in bed watching Whitechapel. I have midsomer and prisoners wives to watch for tomorrow.

Oight oight all you luvverly people x
Freezing cold here too ..brrrrrrr...snow forecast tomorrow round here .
Just looking at the news and how bad it is in some parts of Europe .Have to be grateful really for a warm home and food to eat .

Clams and lamb eh ..sounds delicious .

We're very common here though ,we had sausages, mash and peas :)
Apple rings fried in butter and brown sugar with ice cream for afters .
Goodnight folks sleep toight and keep warm .
Shaney you are so right about being grateful. Its freezing here again this morning but we are home and warm and fed.
Good morning from my warm and cosy bed, absolutely peeing down for the last 48hrs, Yesterday on FB there were so many people from Ibiza and Barcelona who were just staying huddled in their beds for warmth, but I can't do it, have to get up although I may not go for a walk today, as it is just too wet, even though I like walking in the rain normally.

Just hope the leccy stays on as it is usuallu the first thing to suffer when we have bad weather, but we have a gas cooker and a gas fire, so are prepared.

Hope you all have a warm and safe day, we still have the lamb to finish off, yum!

Here is my favourite dancer from the Moscu Ballet, he was the one who winked at me when I whistled, he is called Shalin, oh to be younger!

I've never had a sense of direction so I didn't count that one!!

Thee and me then woofy!!
3° here and so cold and damp.
-4 here and snow forecast
Morning all. Lovely morning here but very cold. I really am going for a walk in a bit. I was supposed to go yesterday with my Plumber and his baby but he had to stay in for somebody so we just sat in drinking coffee and me playing 'Granny'.
Neti I have made a note of Viber and when I get the hang of my phone I'll down load it if it doesn't cost anything. It could take me some time.

Have a go day Biddyfriends
Got to go and sort my Boiler gadget out now..laters 'gaters
Have 'a go day' or 'good day' both make sense don't they :o)
what a daft questionnaire. OF COURSE I have trouble finishing DIY stuff and making the remote work, and my OH has been hiding things from me for decades (so well that neither of us can find them), and I never have any idea what day it is since I retired - why would I want to? I've obviously had Alzheimer's since I was 10.
oh, apparently green carnations are the in thing this year, and you can even eat them. But OH passed up the opportunity to buy some yesterday, so we'll never know.

Did I ever tell you about a suggested assessment for old people that was around while I was at work. It was intended to do an overview of what might be wrong for people who have loads of problems and symptoms. One of the things you need to ask about is drinking and smoking. I normally just used to ask the person if they enjoyed an alcoholic drink and if they said yes I asked how much. If it seemed a lot or if I thought they were under reporting (surely not) I used to ask if they had ever thought that it might be contributing to ...and would mention a problem they had identified.

The new assessment said that we should ask
"Have you ever been upset or angered about comments about the amount that you drink?"
Which I thought was both patronising and unhelpful...anyway I was presenting my views to a group of very senior managers and directors and one of them ( a mate of mine) said "well if you asked me that I would say "nah I am always to p***ed to care"!" Collapse of meeting and the new assessment got the corporate thumbs down.

Morning bewildered buddies...I haven't looked at the quiz yet.

lol woofy. Actually I've been angered in the past by comments about my *lack* of drinking. People <cough!>in-laws<cough!> assumed I was some kind of anti social party pooper. Once they were all blotto they bored me to bloody tears. It all backfired once when they 'warned' some friends about me...after a jar or two one of the men told me what had been said and said he hadn't a clue what they were talking about ....ha! :o)

Well I'd better go and slap some bloomers on a rock before the river freezes, nice and sunny but minus 2.
