I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

Went for a trot and all I could think of was a chip butty, so came home!!
I went for a stagger & all I could think of was mug of tommy soup, seeded cheese roll, pkt quavers, 2 boxes mr. kipling cakes, cup of tea + 2 sugars...

...oh dear, not very 5-a-day Robi....
good morning all...keep your distance I have some kind of virus...aching joints, bad head bad stomach. maybe i shouldn't have finished up the leftover champers and canapes....especially the furry ones. I am sooooo bored with running the gamut of bugs this year. happily the last workman left yesterday so at least i have the leisure to be ill.
am curled up on the settee in my jammies and dressing gown ith some lucozade...time to go back to sleep i think.

sad thread from Lottie

http://www.theanswerb...k/Question871180.html

Just been back to the dentist as my replaced crown is giving me a bit of gyp... so now I'm on antibiotics with YET ANOTHER treatment late next week. I despair of my gnashers, though actually I don't think I have enough of a quorum to gnash with.

With good wishes to all other infirm biddies.

Oh dear, another biddie down... or still down... I say Woofy, you don't mind if I take precautions http://i46.tinypic.com/2hp3785.jpg do you?

Request weather report, from today'sThe Local http://www.thelocal.se/25424/20100309/ ...so yes it is getting better, slowly slowly. It's been truly horrible, wearing people down. The sun's come out today (must be because I've been singing 'Tomorrow' from 'Annie' all winter) so I'm off out to catch a couple of rays before it's too late. It's still cold but the Siberian wind has gone back to Siberia. Thanks Neti I am feeling better migraine and nausea-wise:)

Hi jno, you weren't there when I began writing. Thanks for showing us Lottie's thread, I posted on it just now. Sorry 'bout your gnashers too... We're getting to an age when to us healthy teeth in others equal beauty, aren't we...
Hi all just back from Tai Chi and lunch. Had lovely chicken curry in a pub called The Royal Oak in Ockbrook. we haven't been there for a long time.

Yes I can have drinks on the day of fasting. I can have no milk though. I can have tea coffee water juices bovril oxo and stuff like that. Apparently If I dont drink at least 3 pints I could get a head ache. What with that and hunger don 't know what I'll be like. I have to take something called picolax to clear me out. You know what I mean. I have taken it before so I know what I'm in for. It'll be a day in with sudokos and crosswords.
Tomorrow can eat but not have high fibre (veg and fruit) Never mind it will be all over on Friday night.

Off for a walk now see yer later gater(s) x
Listen pet - don't you worry, I'll do the eating for you, now that's what I call being a friend!!xx
Neti that's so thoughtful. Take all the precautions you like Kit..that pic looked a bit venetian?
JNO sorry to hear about the tooth problem, it makes the bar fighting that much harder if you can't get a good grip on someone's ear. I was supposed to be at the dentist today (routine scale and polish) but cancelled.
Yes Jude, i know all about Picolax, not me but a close relative..it beats weightwatchers into a cocked hat
Morning peeps..dull & grey here & that's just me...at least we're in plus degrees though.

woofy that sounds like whateveritwas that I started with about two weeks ago...I improved up to a point but I've been left with this awful dizziness & overwhelming tiredness, I fell asleep yesterday afternoon...woke up & made some tea...watched an hr of tele...and fell asleep again. I really need to get going, all this house clearance next door has made me want to have a sort out.

Back off chipbuttibiza, I'm the one who needs extra calories around here...
Morning all - No Robi, I need to keep my voluptuous figure, very difficult in these days of crisis. Ate such a lot of chips in my buttie yesterday that I felt ill, yuk chips!! Mr N tied one on last night, so I gently suggested (with a rolling pin) that he bring in a chinese takeaway tonight, so he's meekly gone to golf, promising to bring one in! There's a new Nepalese restaurant opening here next Monday so look forward to tasting that, guess it's pretty much like Indian, anyone know? Vwery very cold here but bright and sunny, still have one more load of broken doors etc so another log fire tonight! I don't get the benefit as I go to bed about 8.30 (7.30 your time!) to watch Corrie and eastenders from the day before).

BTW Robi, Eastenders are copying Corrie with the dead Owen sending (via Lucas) the wrong flowers to his mum on her birthday. Getting fed up with Corrie and that stupid granddad keeping Simon away from Peter.

Anyone watching Michael Winner and his eating at plebs house?
Morning all. Get well soon all my biddyfriends who feel off-it. I feel ok except I'm on my no veg no fruit diet today. It's my brothers birthday to he is 49 so I will be off up there to see him in a bit. He gave up the Jazz duo and now plays part-time with a folk band and is doing a few festivals this year.

Robi I heard on BBc 2 today that there was an accident on the A52 /Raynesway turn off this morning. I really hope it's nothing serious. That road gets worse. My sister lives that side of town and she avoids it like the plague.

Weather is a bit dull and cold this am but I'll aim for walk this afto..

I wonder where Vinny is. Does anyone know. I've tried emailing him but no answer.

Anyway take care all see yer later gater(s)
Went to council re: our landgrab, "No news yet, they are still redesigning the plan!" which means they are not telling anyone and the next thing we know is the bulldozers will be coming into the garden!!!
"tied on one" neti...hahaha - that'll keep Sweedie busy, I haven't heard that for ages... or pleb, they were two of my ex f-i'l's favourites.
I'm fed up of Corrie, I think most fans of it are, I wish gerbil jowls (Gail) & the over-tanned Tina would sail off in the boat for good....oh, and they can take Kelly with them too, she really is a superfluous character. Yes, I've watched Michael Winner, weren't the posh lot awful? Very ignorant to stand laughing & joking amongst themselves & not including him...a bit like going into some cb threads.
Shall we all come & set up camp on your land, I'd like to see them try to grab us? The aroma of mothballs & liniment should be enough to drive 'em back....oh and a dab of Vinny's lovely gift, Ester (it's great for getting limescale off the lav)

Jude I heard it on the news but I haven't heard any update yet. Can I ask the name of the folk band? Tarquin's a 'folky' big time stylie, he'll probably know them.
* d'oh!...tied one on, not 'tied on one', hahahaha...that really would keep her busy ;o)
^^^ kept me busy for a while, that did!!^^
well I've seen it all now...my mum would have been in her element

ah, there are lots of local specialities in the USA, Robinia

oh haha, now you're talking, I do like a bit of sticky tape...I'm sure I bought a pack of 3 colours recently but I'm blowed if I can find it, I bet sparkibiza's been bodging the electrics again....
ha ha Robi, my nickname here for many years here was Sparkles, simply because I turned up at a party with sequins stuck to my brows, quite impressive it was in those days!
