fto in safe mode

does anyone know why my mates FTO auto would keep putting its self in safe mode after about 45 minutes of driving?

Car Wheel Stud?

I had a flat tire recently and when i went to take the wheel off to put on the spare i couldnt get one of the nuts off cus it was wrung so we had to end up drilling through the nut and most the stud...

engine will not turn over

ive just fitted a 2.0 ford mondao duratec engine after last one blew up auto box now it does not turn over all dash light come on but go out when i turn the key to engage starter motor battery fine...

Escort clutch, adjustable?

I have just bought a Ford Escort 1.4 CL, R reg and it's immaculate in all respects, low mileage for age 55,000. The only fault is that the clutch is a bit 'high' at biting point. I'm easy on clutches...
