insurance.....

hi all, my insurance policy is up at the end of the month, my renewal has gone up a staggering 55% with the company i'm with and i think its ridicolous. i've done numerous quotes online and all the prices are between £1000 and £2000 and some are more.
my renewal price is just shy of £600 (almost double).
does anyone know a good site to get a competitive price as i have 9 years bonus, have driven for 11 years with no accidents.
all i want is a good price with good excess fees (just incase) as i think £550 plus are stupidly high excess fees.
any sites or companies would be great.
i have tried, e-car , more than, compare the market, confused, elephant, admiral and the list goes on...

I've shopped around and had to renew at this price with last years insurers as i can't get near this quote at all.
i believe it is legal theft as you need insurance so they can hike the price as its a neccessity and the rozzers will uplift the car if you don't have it.
i believe its a lose-lose situation, pay much extra or have the wheels uplifted!!!
not much of a choice
