peugeot boxer speedometer

We have a Puegeot Boxer Motorhome 2003 .
The speedometer has stopped working, all the other clocks are functioning normally. Can anyone tell me wether it is cable operated,computer chipped or a fused circuit. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP OFFERED.

I think you will find it on a Circuit board jan. if right, check 247 car spares or EBay etc, do not go to your dealer unless you have a lot of money to throw away.

.....it's electronic. get your vehicle scanned as it's more likely to be the speed sensor. I had this problem on my Ducato ( same vehicle - different badge )

what sort of price?
did you go to dealer or somewhere else.
i have 2004 vechile speedo stopped last weekend on way home from devon.
if this is happening to a lot of vechicles should there be a
call back to the manufacturer?

We have a Peugeot Boxer Motor home 53 plate and the same thing has just happened on a trip to Lincoln. Can I ask how you got it fixed and what the costs were?
