Renault Scenic 2004
Hello ABers, my daughter has a 04 Renault Scenic. Yesterday it kept stalling and after a bit of internet research several people told her it was a comon fault caused by the MAP / MAF tube.
This morning she has gone to the car and had a problem with the 'electrics' as well. Central locking, alarm going off, can't release the handbrake and no power or imobiliser not letting the car turn over. Inside the glove compartment fuse box there is a pink relay that is constantly clicking (the glove compartment light is very dim and appears to be flashing with the relay). I removed the relay and a secondary quiter clicking appears to be coming from behind the dashboard.
Is it possible the relay is clicking due to lack of power or, is the relay the cause of the power problem? Any advice would be appreciated. She cannot call services as the car is outside her home. We can't try jump leads as someone has parked right next to her front end.
