Windscreen Wipers...

I'm dissatisfied with the ones that I purchased recently due to poor performance and quality.
When I noticed streaks on the windscreen, I took a close look at the blades and noticed tiny cuts in the rubber.

Can anyone recommend a decent brand of wipers ?

I use Bosch Aerotwin wipers, very good and I have never heard them squeal.

Where did you get them? The Bosch ones are so popular that there are lots of fakes about - especially online. Never had a problem with them myself- so another recommendation here.

Bosch are fitted as standard equipment on lots of cars, and (when tested last by Auto Express) also were their top performers. I think you may have got sub-standard ones.

I took the advice from Halfords and had them fitted there.

I would also say Bosch. But if yours are faulty they need replacing by the supplier.
You could get the Halfords ones as a replacement if you dont want Bosch.

They should be the best blades and yours sound faulty. I agree that you should return them for replacement.

Ooh, that's reminded me Chipchopper,...mine need replacing. OH announced he couldn't understand how my car passed MOT with dodgy blades I've got

Bath, providing the rubbers are not split the car will pass,

Tip here try wet wipes along the blade edges it clears any dirt and grit and they are also very good for shifting dead flies from screen or paintwor
