My son is 19 years old and would like to start building up some sort of no claims for his insurance. Does anyone know a firm that will transfer a policy from a moped to a car? Is this a feasible option? Thanks in advance.

It is not straight forward, some allow a transfer some don't

Better to get cover as a named driver on his parents car.
I wouldn't know the answer to your question but as far as I can see, as EDDIE51 suggests putting him on your policy as a named driver wont help him build up his no claims bonus.
paul , it will be taken into account as driving experience and give him a reduced premium when he wants his own insurance.
I did this with 3 of my kids, it gave a large reduction in their premiums.
Over £800 in one case.
