Peugot 306 wipers not working properly

I have jsut bought a second hand peugot 306 meridian diesel T reg 1999. When i went to use the wipers they work correctly all the time but whe i went to use he intermittant one it stops in various positions at the top of the screen, can anyone help pls. I hav echecked the fuse and it appears ok. Thanks

I had this on mine and it was the wiper relay needing to be replaced.
