has anyone renewed their driving licence
Because of reaching the age of seventy,
If so were all the categories carried forward,?
as i have just had mine returned,
with cat's A.

Which means i have lost category,C. < C1.< D.< D1.<andE. Does anyone know why this is so?,

Thanks a lot for your help, I did actually make a photo copy, and I even kept the old licence as it was very tatty fom being in my wallet for 34 years, although I have held the lcence since 1956, It was renewed in 1974,and that is the one I have until this day, as well as the new card type,
Maybe as well that I kept it then,
I kept it as i was proud to have had a clean licence for 50 odd years, and then I went and got a fixed penalty for speeding in 2006, doing 34 in a 30 area,
Sh1t happens eh.
