Seriously, listen to the lyrics and explain why Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, et al, say the lady is a tramp?

Old song, old fashioned manners -  never good to be late for the theatre or to eat before dinner and one should treat everybody equally even those we do not like    lol ,  Dont think song is meant to be taken that seriously

She's a tramp by the standards of hoity-toity posh people, but she's not really a tramp. It's sending up the attitudes of posh folk who think any minor failing makes someone trash.
