Takes Your Breath Away

There are some bands whose output simply defies belief in terms of the enormity if its impact on fans.
For me, its led Zeppelin, no matter how many times I have played their music over the last forty-five years, I am still completely blown away by their invention and power, and the diversity of their songs.
The fact that I now have a granddaughter who was the age Robert Plant was when he sang on their first album only underlines their majesty.
Does anyone else still find themselves amazed at the sheer genius of their favourite bands?

Historically, Dire Straits fits the bill for me. Unlike most bands (whose albums consisted of a few decent singles and a lot of 'filler' tracks) every single track on a Dire Straits album was (and remains) worth listening to over and over again.
Currently it has to be the mighty Bellowhead!
