hi, i have been given a ukulele for my birthday and would like a lesson or too, i have no idea where to start, any ideas, need to start from the very begining.thanks

If there's a ukulele club near to you they should be able to put you in touch with someone who can help:

Otherwise phone the music service of your local education authority. (it will be listed under the name of your county council in the phone book). Somebody there should be able to help.

When your start playing ukulele it's very important to have 'lei' ;)

My local music shop has a list of people who give lessons on various instruments, perhaps your local shop has one as well. Obviously the ukulele might not be there but it's worth a try.
