...............the Indian variant that was going to devastate the country? That fizzled out, didn't it? And wasn't there supposed to be a Brazillian variant too, about 12 months ago? Then there was the Mexican variant. Where next?
"Around the world, I searched for you
I travelled on, till hope was gone
To keep a rendezvous"
I ask as I booked my booster a couple of weeks ago (like bobbinwales it took all of 2 minutes on-line) and am having it this Friday at a chemist that is a 10 minute walk from home.
The only way it could have been easier and more convenient is if they were coming to my house to jab me!
Isn't it wonderful to see the British Bulldog spirit surviving! Well done all those who, despite practically unassailable adversity, managed to get their booster - and I'm proud to say I'm one of them. I struggled on line for all of about a minute.
Those of you who found it so easy peasy and could walk to your booster centre have no idea what it was like in some parts of the country. I had to do a 20 mile round trip for all three of my jabs. Could job I can drive and didn't object to having to pay to park in a public car-park.
bobb fgs please have some acceptance that not everyone has had the easy ride booking a vaccine that you and emmie and others have. Accept that there are others experiencing a hard time. I mentioned mine yesterday. Now it's my husband's turn, he can't even get on the website, last night it told him he was number 400 and something in the queue.
You are somewhat the self-appointed fount of all covid knowledge so get your facts straight.
You're not very thoughtful of other folk, are you, 10Clarion?
I'm not the only member on here waiting for news of a relative or friend who has contracted this new variant. Neither am I the only one with a relative who died from one of the others.
There are members no longer posting. I wonder if they have died. Yet you come on with a badly researched and ill considered post.
