Is it worth sharpening a potato speed peeler or just getting a new one?

I wasn’t a Truss fan before, but I’m warming to her because she looks so bloomin’ awkward. I feel for her. I hope she enjoys her cheese and wine tonight.

FCI @ 21.42 Spot on again ,as usual.

"5CP SGB" what does the the "P" mean?

"That's why you are reduced to spitting bile all the time."

Not at all like you then, TORATORATORA?
the assassin never wears the crown

unless he's named Boris
Truss in London,Sturgeon up here in Scotland.I wonder what the odds are on either lasting the next year as leaders.I might go down to the bookies tomorrow, put on a hundred quid and get a hundred and one pounds back this time next year.
If you bet £100 and expect to get £101 back, that means the odds on their being there still are 100/1 on.

You think they are extremely likely to be in power still in twelve months' time then.
Tee-hee.For"either"put"neither".

I’m guessing it’s Poltroons?
It’s a favourite word of Chief Borstrich.
He forgets that 148 of them initiated the process that removed Boris, before he himself escalated the lies of his deputy chief whip. Lol.

Funny how he uses a word starting with P though, ironically.

Porkies in Parliament, Paterson, Pincher, Proroguing, Partygate…..PMSL.
I thought of that after. He discovers a seldom used word and over-uses it.

The word, "contrarian" was his favourite for a while and would use it to describe me until he got the hump and started "ignoring" me.

(Honestly, it's fine. Really! I'll get over it...)

I’ll desist in making a joke about other words that start with C

Don’t worry, I’m thinking of ‘curmudgeon’, honestly. Lol.

I'll judge her on her actions. Why are you all dissing her already?
She might actually turn out to be the best thing that happened to the UK.
Don't forget a lot of people were against Winston Churchill getting the top job.
I see some of you are already on first name terms with the PM:-(
the best thing that happened to the UK

better than Ed Sheeran? Brave talk, Hopkirk.
Hopkirk
//I'll judge her on her actions. Why are you all dissing her already?//

Probably because she’d already dissed Macron and Sturgeon?
Regardless of her private views it’s not very statesman-like language of a former Foreign Secretary who subsequently gets the top job is it?
Slates British workers but says we’re the best in her first speech?
Perpetual flip-floppery for months, even years?
As Rifkind alluded to earlier on the BBC, a polar opposite of Thatcher.
Let’s hope we’re pleasantly surprised, but the omens are not good.
"Don't forget a lot of people were against Winston Churchill getting the top job"

Also, don't forget that Winston wasn't a vaccuous tart who'd sell his soul for 20 minutes in the spotlight.

He could also deliver a speech that wasn't just somebody elses words but in a slightly different order.

In short, new pork markets and disgraceful cheese.

I'm going to be sick.
Churchill had made several howling errors in his previous jobs. Thank God it didn't hold him back.

To paraphrase Senator Lloyd Bentsen, "Prime Minister, you're no Winston Churchill".

Don’t underestimate the cheese lady.
