Friday..drizzly rain but warm here in Edinburgh...dad in hossie having his procedure early this morning....fingers crossed...Will go in later with mum...hope to get a wee bit done in garden before that if it stops raining though....hope you are all well...xxx

trying to sort out parking at gatwick airport for our holiday but the prices are astronomical !

How far are you from Gatwick ?.. too far for taxi ?.. sometimes cheaper to get a price from private hire to do airport than parking up for a week or two....we also found we returned to a car with 500 + miles more on the clock at Glasgow airport.....turns out the attendants had a car hire scam running from long stay car park ...including ours !

to get a taxi it would cost for two ways £130 all together but if we drive there the best option would be £120 + petrol for 14 days parking

Swings and roundabouts ....but you wouldn't have stress of driving !...no family or friends you could bung a few quid plus petrol to take and pick you up ?

morning Minty. Hope all goes well with your dad. Have been there with my mum, tho hope he gets better treated than she did (she was in Stafford hospital at the time of the debacle sp?). You do what you can, sometimes it feels like the impossible. Not stuck my nose round the door to see what the weather is. The forecast is rain again :-(

have been there once before and vegas but seats on planes no good for me in economy so pay extra for upgrade well worth it believe me!

Cuddles ...you may be kept in at Disney....if you are like your avatar !..lol. I'm not a great fan of the Disneyworld thing been to all three...too busy / noisy / expensive. In fact my young niece I took once was terrified of the place and we had to leave...in Paris.....

Morning Rosetta....some hospitals better than others.. I get very vocal if I don't think things are being done quite right....things usually improve thereafter ..not enough people complain or speak up when things are wrong but leave it till it's too late....not me !

We had rain late afternoon yesterday, it went on long enough to not need to water the garden. :o}

I don't think we will get any this morning, I don't mind about later. I want it dry tomorrow, I'm on the boat.
