I have voted in every General Election for the past sixty years and not once has my vote counted because of our first past the post system. Until we get proportional representation it seems I shall miss out - unless I move house ...... or party!

Not any better though, Prudie. ;o)

Rockrose, you're embarrassing yourself.

You'd think this close to Christmas you'd have better things to do than embarrasses yourself online.
Voted ages ago, and looking at the weather I am glad I have a postal vote. The turn out may be arrested by the weather. Low turn out would favour the party generating the strongest feelings. On that basis I think Labour may do better than the polls predict. I could have voted Labour for self interest low income, caught up in the women's pension issues but I chose the party that thinks there is a money free not a money forest.
The queue was out of the door at the poll station here this morning.

Excuse me?
Please explain.
She isn't embarrassing herself, TD. I thought you didn't approve of personal attacks? Or was that yesterday?
He only approves of them when they come from him.

You. Joining the coven are you Pasta? I'd think you had better things to do also. Try not ganging up with other users to be malicious. It could be considered harassment.
Any instances of members referring to other members as anything but their preferred names will be removed. Repeated offences will result in suspensions.
I shall be voting the same way I have in every recent election.
Up to now, it hasn't made any difference because the successful candidate has been elected and re-elected despite my vote. I just hope that, today, many of my fellow residents will join me and my way of thinking and oust the present incumbent.

TheDevil - Stop throwing your toys out of the pram just because your attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of other ABers has failed.....spitting out names from a time before you 'joined' doesn't help you cause much either.

Upholding the referendum has no priority for me. I didn't vote in the referendum and I don't care if we're in the EU or out of it. I will not be voting for the lying, racist who ends everything he says with "Lets get Brexit done". It's you that needs to get done mate.
I have moved this thread into the "Politics" category as it warrants more serious discussion (and we'd rather Chatterbank isn't used as a catch-all area for threads that could go elsewhere). As the thread is no longer in Chatterbank, please stay on-topic and give the question the respect it deserves. Thanks!
In the past I have voted for most of the parties, except Greens.

To-day, Conservative. The thought of a Corbyn led govt fills me with absolute dread.
