Good to read that they still enjoy free speech in the Netherlands, as well as a politician who is not afraid to speak out against the spread of Islam into his country.
/// Mr Wilders, said he was "defending the character, the identity, the culture and the freedom of The Netherlands." ///
Is there anyone who would defend the character, the identity, the culture and the freedom of Britain?

i would, and even if i didn't believe Mr Wilders, can't understand the government who barred him from entering Britain, because of his stance on Islam, yet allow people like Anjem Choudary, Abu Hamza and others to stand in the streets waving placards calling British soldiers killers, and worse. I believe he was allowed into Britain eventually, and gave a talk to a group of MP's, or that's what i read, but you shouldn't lecture people about fairness, without seeing both sides of the argument.
sandyroe are you kidding, if i said what i think on any number of issues i would likely end in jail. Diverse we may be, but integrated we are not.

One must assume from the Guardian's careful editing of this story, that they must have been choking on their muesli, just having to report on this.

politicians sit in their ivory towers, and don't see what's under their noses, and when their day is done will retire to some sunny clime and leave everyone else to get on with it. Many who live in rural areas don't know the problems in inner cities, in much the same way city dwellers know almost nothing about country life.
Sqad, glad you posted that, some people don't want to believe the situation we are in, but they will one day.
