With respect...............
I have just read most of the posts about Amy Winehouse. I shall miss her voice and the person she was, yes, even with her demons.
Most of all I feel so sad for her parents, they had tried so hard to bring her back from the edge, I guess she didn't want to listen oh Amy, Amy Amy!
I do realise that there are many parents who for many reasons (illness, war et al) that do have to say goodbye to their children but in the great scheme of things this is surely the wrong way round.
So to Amy's parents, the 23rd psalm:
Mizmor l'David.
Adonoy ro-i, lo echsar. Bin-ot desheh yarbitzayni,
al may m'nuchot y'nahalayni. Nafshi y'shovayv,
yanchayni v'ma-g'lay tzedek l'ma-an sh'mo.
Gam ki aylaych b'gay tzalmaves lo ira ra
ki atah imadi, shivt'cha umish-antecha, haymah y'nachamuni.
Ta-aroch l'fanai shulchan, neged tzor'roy,
dishantah vashemen roshi, kosi r'vayah.
Ach tov vachesed yird'funi kol y'may chayoy,
v'shavti b'vayt Adonoy l'orecha yamim.

I think you will find I said YOU were a joke, at no point did I say any sort of behaviour such as you describe is a joke, of course it isn't. I have posted extensively on the subject on a more suitable thread if you care to look, the problem that most people had with you're response on this thread was that despite it;s title you were so very disrespectful to the poster in the manner you posted and it ill befits an adult to behave in such a way. I have NO PROBLEM in anyone having a different opinion to me, in fact I enjoy lively debate, but this was tasteless and crass and wholely unnecessary, so perhaps it might be a nice idea to take this to a different thread? If so I'll be happy to answer you ion the morning as I'm going to bed now.
Blondie I really am probably the least insecure person you're ever likely to not meet- I've had a good old stare at all my demons ( hence i am compassionate about other peoples) and either sent em packing or they live side by side with me quite openly- either way I don't seek or require anyone's approval- least of all someone in cyberspace.
