That is one less drug dealer on the streets -personally I'd execute all drug dealers .Bleeding hearts make me sick when it comes to drug dealers ,no doubt there would have been much wringing of hands and rioting if this scumbag had shot someone else (NOT)He didn't possess a gun for nothing . So easy to blame the police for doing their job when it suits you but soon call for them in times of trouble .
If they cancel the carnival, the thousands of people who go in the day from other parts of the country - as well as all the people currently working on their costumes - will be done out of a fabulous weekend. The people currently rioting probably aren't the same people as would take part in the Carnival anyway - and cancelling would cause even more bad feeling, IMO.
You're probably right boxtops and maybe if they considered cancelling it anyway it would spark more trouble as the people who are doing what they're doing tonight don't need much of an excuse to start trouble.
boxy they may not take part in the Carnival but i bet they will take part in the trouble afterwards
Dolly1308,

There is no evidence he pocessed a gun. One was found in the cab wrapped in a sock, but YOU at assuming it was the dead mans. It was most probably the Cabbies.

I have no evidence he was not dealing drugs, just has you have no idea he was. Yoy just being wound up by the tabloids.
The people wearing the costumes will be black. The looters are black.

...?
London is burning ,people have lost their homes ,businesses, cars etc etc so who gives a ***** if the carnival is cancelled we have more important priorities and as for the **** shot on thurs bottom line is HE HAD A GUN and its illegal in this country to carry a gun so anyone stupid enough to carry one must be aware of that and why have a gun unless its to shoot people with - he got what he deserved and as for him being a family man and an "elder" well a 27 yr old dad to 4 kids [presumably different mums] well its no loss in the grand scheme of things really !!!
Lucie335, why do you presume he had kids with different mums? Because he's black? What a great way you think, and don't tell me "I'm not racist because my milkmans builder's son goes to a turkish cafe for breakfast" Lol.
Btw, all of his children were with one woman. Do some research before posting next time.
His partner who was interviewed referred to their 'children'
actually i am mixed race !! its nothing to do with race he was a drug dealer and notorious around tottenham [were i live ]take your bleedin heart elsewhere !!
He had a gun FACT and if you reckon the police decided to stop an unarmed innocent man and shoot him needlessley then you must be thick - he was a drug dealing scumbag and deserved it

Lol, it's funny, recently on the other forums I frequent new users suddenly appear and spout thinly disguised racial comments and than always say "I'm mixed race" in an attempt not to be called racist when 9/10 they're not. Mixed race folk can be racist too don't you know. Lol. What part of totteham are you from, I know the area well.
I agree with lucie335, having illegitmate children, getting a council flat and benefits is too rife. If they (all colours) want children out of wedlock, let the fathers and immediate family house and support them. A lot of the problems we are seeing at this moment is because the youth's have no fathers or parental control in the home, skip school so come out with no qualifications therefore making them unemployable only able to roam the streets joining gangs and smoking wacky baccy.
If they cancel the carnival, there will definitely be more riots!
No, though i don't go anymore, there have been too many incidents of violence for my liking, and any number of people who go for the sole intention to thieve. You see the dancing and the music, but how much of the aftermath ever gets shown, not a lot.
I am off black boy lane actually and you need to see this is deeper than colour - Mark was a crack dealer [well known]and a member of a yardie gang who are nasty pieces of work -i dont care that you label me a racist as you are ignorant to the facts - yes i am sure mixed race people can be racist as can black chinese or bloody bulgarians but its not about colour of skin its about lack of decency, morals and humanity . Believe me i do know Tottenham and have lived here for 11 years and i dont hate anybody who is decent and has morals and a code but i do hate crack dealing scumbags who carry guns [in socks or otherwise !!]
Lucie you are reading too many stories!

How do you know it was his gun?? What has happened to the cab driver??
When a cop gets shot in this country, it normally makes the front pages, so who was he???? Why no glory for him? All this makes me think it is a cover up.
Lucie you are my neighbour!!!!

Were you there saturday night???
