Your comment earlier seemed like a thinly veiled racist remark, my opinion. You can let it go now as I'm merely pixels here and do not affect you in any way in the real world. People I know will speak their minds and not worry about it because they know they're not racist, others will have a feeling of guilt and need to justify themselves to try and avert suspicion. My lasting experience of the Carnival (aside from the goat stew food poisoning, and the excessive crowds) was the incompetence of the police. They said we couldn't get onto the pavement as they were in a chain blocking access to those who had crossed the street (for no good reason as far as I could tell) and that if we wanted to get to the BR station to leave, we could try further down. Did so, but they were also were having their fun not letting folk through but insisting we were pushed back onto the road in the way of the carnival. Presumably in a deliberate attempt to cause problems. Then we see they'd started letting folk through where we first tried. For a laugh I suppose. No desire to re-experience it. Anyway don't they try to get it to occur away from Notting Hill these days?

maybe if you didn't presume things without the facts then you wouldn't be misunderstood. So in future research+gaining facts=knowledge then post= users understanding what you're saying without no chance of being misunderstood and if you are then at least you'll have the real hard facts and links to back up what you've posted. There are too many here ready to say that he deserved it and was a drug dealer/armed criminal but I myself am reformed as is many of my peers, I am now an upstanding member of the public that works alongside the police and those from unfortunate backgrounds. I have a family and work and pay taxes. I have changed my life around as many have. Not all criminals will remain criminals all of their lives and can you all really say you've never done anything wrong, or your family or friends haven't and have now changed the way they were?
