Inequalities - my eye!! They are blaming anything and everything, government, cuts, poverty, immigration - they're just yobs - plain and simple

Shazza36 - Do you know any older and bigger guys who can have a word with the youths? I know of several sets of 'feral' youths confronted in this way. The problems stopped. They don't have to be aggressive or shout at the youths. Just mention to them there will be reprisals if there is any more trouble.
I find alot of younger people want the trappings of a comfortable life but dont want to put the effort or hours in. Its a society that demands equality without going through the motions of what it takes to get somewhere in life.
They have little or no 'real world' communication skills, are breastfed on the digital age of facebook, xbox and mobiles and MTV music videos that suggest wealth is attractive.
Their lack of progress in life causes them to point the blame at anyone but themselves. We live in a society that offers a good enough education system to get you started. I left school in 1985 and even then going on to higher education was OK if you could afford NOT to be in the job marketplace - this isnt a new thing. Yes, the job market isnt what it was, but I agree with em10 - I've yet to meet an unemployed person from Poland.
Hell, I'm sure most of us work long hours with no big car, house or foreign holiday at the end of it! I know I do and most of my peers. I'm not about to smash up the high street in resentment.

Look there are thousands of jobs everywhere, they are full of immigrants because we pay out WSS too mucvh to sit on their ar5es make it viable, so they get done by immigrants on minimum wage, if no one would do those jobs then the employers would have to raise salaries, perhaps even plucking WSC from the dole, it's market forces. surely even a lefty pl0nker like you can see that.
in fact geezer a few years back one person mid to late 50's came out of work
his firm shut down and moved abroad
he tried everyday and i mean everyday, after months and months of trying to get back in sales he started looking and trying for any job
firms do not want well educated men in their late 50's
one day his wife and daughter went shopping into manchester town centre when they got back home they opened the front door and were greeted by
a body with a rope round his neck
he put a rope in the loft and stood on a chair at the top of the stairs
he had probably read a report saying there were loads of jobs and just felt
useless

It may be necessary to diversify, if you can't get the exact job that suits then widen your horizons, that's all I'm saying, I think John Doe just sees himself as a whatever and only looks for those jobs. Ok you may have tou take something you may find beneath you. I've never managed to get a job polishing page 3 models but I get by on what I've ended up doing.
R1G, some people perhaps don't want to do lesser jobs, if you have been a top salesman, executive, or engineer, and are made redundant at say 50, or earlier, then perhaps it is hard to find those jobs, they are far and few between, and companies that do hire, are likely to go for younger people, and the older you get the less likely you are to find anything in your field. If you have to work in B&Q or tesco to make ends meet than can be quite a downturn, in your earnings and self esteem.
