Today's Britain?
Or just pictures of today's youth doing what they've done for generations, going out getting bombed at weekends, but this time it's captured in all its glory?

Yes, as" lads" we did get "hammered" but I cannot recall the level, severity and social disruption, that the drinking of alcohol does today.
Anyone who worked in A&E in the 60's will give you a good insight compared to A&E in any UK hospital at the weekend.
The UK is in denial that alcohol is a major social problem and as such, difficult to address.

The pictures of people collapsed aren't good... the pictures of the girls having a chat at the bus stop, under a brolly or the couple trying to have a little kiss in private I thought were relatively normal/innocent.
I agree with Jake really, brits going and getting pizzled at the weekend is hardly news.

I used to do all the clubs and pubs in the 70s and 80s, yes there were drunks to be found but nothing like you see these days, we never saw all these girls collapsed and screaming and fighting in the streets.
I'm also aware that the problem isn't as bad as the media portray, they only show the worst side of these things. They will never show footage of a night club emptying out and everybody going home in a quiet and orderly manner, no one would be interested in that!
