I wouldnt like to second guesss, but i believe they got statements from the players in question.Im sure it will all come out.Apparently the John Terry case is more clear cut, form what ive read, so i would think he will get dealt with more firmly.

The proof is Uarez admitted to saying it. His weak defence was that in South America, they call black players that all the time. He has played in Europe now for several years and must know it is unacceptable here. Being a Premiership player, he must have known about the John Terry incident, and that ethnically abusing an opposing player is a serious offence. My guess he knew the abuse was offensive, but hethought hecould get away with it because it wasn't in English.

Not at all surprised by this decision, name calling really hurts some,

£40,000 fine and a 8 match ban for calling another dark skinned player names seems rather harsh, when some can physically attack another player yet only get a 3 match ban only to be reduced to 2 matches at a later date.

Patrice Evra, could walk off the field to play another day, but the player that Rooney attacked could have been so seriously wounded, in so much his playing days could have ended at that moment.

The name that was used was ‘negrito’ and isn't an offensive term.

When something is said in another language its sometimes difficult to understand the full meaning. For instance to a Spaniard Hermano de Puta is a really serious insult , if someone said to me your mums a tart I would probably laugh.She planely wasnt.
