I agree entirely. The word ‘homophobia’, just like the word ‘racist’ is bandied around all too easily now in an effort to shut other people up. Some people believe children are better raised by a man and a woman, that’s all. That doesn’t make them ‘homophobic’.

I wasn't going to join in this thread originally because I don't really have a definite view on it but what I do know is that any children of Elton and David will not have a 'normal' upbringing anyway because of the wealth, fame aspect etc.
I really cannot see either of them walking this little boy to school as other Mums and Dad's do so I do wonder what sort of person he will grow up to be but having said this, he won't know any different until the day comes when he will question why he has 2 'Daddies' when the majority of children have a Mum and Dad.
Will the fact that he has 2 famous Daddies have an affect on him?
Only time will tell, but if he had a sibling he would have someone to share his 'different' upbringing with and this might help, or, it could actually mean 2 mixed up kids instead of 1.

Missprim - of course the childs life will be very different to a child of mne or yours. Do you think Madonna and Guy Ritchie ever walked their son to school, or Brad and Angelina. I doubt that. That's what happens when you're uber famous. And there's probably a 10 mile driveway to the school. The circles they mix in are also probably far different to ours and probably more like their own lifestyle. It won't be odd to their children. It will be normal.

Ummmm I wasn't just meaning their sexuality but their lifestyle in general.
Being the child of very famous people can quite often affect a child but they would have added the fact to that that their parents are of the same sex.
