If they did manage regeme change here, do you think the new lot would be any different to the Assad regeme?

However i don't think they are a threat to Britain, and as to repression surely they all do it, Gadaffi, get rid of him, and who has replaced him, then Syria gets rid of Assad, who replaces him, rebels are not one tight band of brothers throwing out a corrupt and brutal regime, but many factions for the moment seeing a goal of getting rid of the present incumbent. If that happens will it lead to more freedom for the people of Syria, or perhaps a chance for others to rule ever more harshly. If Assad goes then civil war surely will follow.
