Morning sweetpea - monthly reporting time! Not in Friday so only have 2 days to get all my reports done for the surveyors. Have to reconcile 2 sets of figures so whilst there is nobody in the office, there's nobody to corrupt the figures!!
good morning welshy and alba xx.
had my bathroom ceiling ripped down yesterday as we had a bad leak in roof and the mess was unreal, so dusty, still breathing it in this morning yuk!
Hope I didn't wake up old nosey bag next door (well actually, I hope I did!!!!!).
No danger of that tomorrow morning - i'll be at fingers's house tonight!
Morning Bernie - no joke is it? When the council ripped out my kitchen to bring the house up to 'Welsh Quality Housing Standards', the whole house was dusty for weeks. You woke up in the morning and you could have sworn you had eaten a dust butty!!
Good Morning and a big Thank You to one and all for your support and Good Wishes. I have seen the Mamya offering and have answered appropriately. I cannot possibly thank you all as there are too many.
It took me ages to find the Mamya thread, but thanks for the head up, DT.
You will see what my actions have been since, if you find the thread.
As I have said, I'm still recovering and feeling a bit fragile, but at least I'm on the mend. I can't ask for more than that.
roof has been repaired brand new tiles so just ceiling and new lights being fitted by my cousin on Friday cant wait to get it all finished will look good! just hate this dust in our throats yuk yuk yuk!!!
Thank you bernie6969, I collect Bully Bears, made by the Nisbet Company. They were established by the actor Peter Bull. (often as bit parts in Sir Alec Guinness films as they were in the Navy together and very good friends). They are very beautiful and sometimes I can't stop looking at them!
Sir A -my dearly departed suffered with the 'd' word for many years. Terrible thing to deal with and with other people saying 'cheer up it'll pass' - not that simple. Depression is a condition that is not understood by the mass majority of folks. To them depression is when they feel a little miserable because something hasn't gone quite right when in reality it is much, much more than that. I know we haven't always seen eye to eye but I do wish you well. xx
Morning Spot - hope the weather holds out for you for the rest of the week - local forecasters here say that it will be pretty good - until the bloody weekend:-(
Sweetpea - don't think by being on here that i'm not doing my work - I have a programme running in the background and as soon as it prints off my first report i'll be away (probably with the fairies!!)
I want to do unspeakable things to people who say 'things can't be that bad', how dare they think they know what is in that other person's head and life?!
Sweetcheeks, did tha av tha Barnsley chop last night?
Thank you Welshyorkie, it is very misunderstood, as you say. There was a programme, excellently done by Stephen Fry a few years ago about Bipolar disorder and depression, can't remember what it was called, but well worth the watch. My mother wouldn't watch it. Apparently it was 'too disturbing'. I wish she had, she might have understood me more. Her family are mouthy and practical. Nay such thing as depression in theer wurld!
