Just seen a news item.
DJ has died at 82 following a heart attack. I wonder what he was making of all the actions of the press? Does anyone know if he gave evidence to the Leveson enquiry?

I don't recall him being mentioned either. Probably he had been away from print journalism for too long for his views to be relevant.
He was very successful editor of several titles in his day.
