Is this an admission that there are no good bankers in the City of London?

but what happens if he accidentally thinks in dollars instead of pounds when he is calculating big financial moves? And announces that he wants to devalue the Loonie? Like the scientists who got their feet and meters muddled up on the Hubble telescope?
Even if he did, could we be any worse off than we seemed to be 4 or so years ago?
IMO he can't do any worse than the last lot... whats he going to do, provide us all with spades to dig our selves out of this mess.

Plenty of bankers in London one lives at no.10
no it's an admission that someone was leaving and they had to find a replacement
He's one of us really..........his wife went to Cheltenham Girls' College.
he is rather nice looking, better than the present incumbent, so at least we have someone nice to look at when getting the bad news.
I'd bet Paul Tucker (the previous favourite) is crying in his soup. He was privy to all Mervyn Kings decisions and probably had a hand in using QE. I wonder if Carney will use other methods that work this time. I do wonder though when his stint is finished whether he will revert to Canadian citizenship.
I think some of our merchant bankers are now under scrutiny for mismanagement (Sir Fred Goodwin). Better fishing in another pool, the Canadian one sounds as if he knows his stuff in Canada but time will tell if it translates to the UK.
We all know that anyone with less than £100,000 in the bank is going to get shafted. I.E. No good bankers.
