Is this the type of thing they should be teaching in our schools?

So to keep such ABers as jake-the peg-happy I have gone to the trouble of providing two more source for the same news story.
Incidentally the Guardian are taking it serious enough to enter a poll on it.

Strange that from this story he has found need to mention WW2, the Nazis, and when someone entered 'gays' he even had a go at the elderly.
I don't know why he comes on to this site, since it upsets him so.

Am I wrong in thinking that this can already be done even on old computers?
Internet content can be set via Internet Options surely?
Perhaps an AB computer expert, can verify if I am right or wrong?

<opportunities for schools to teach about pornography.>
that is clearly a very worthwhile element in Social Devt classes.
pornography is certainly more common and available than it was in the past.
It needs to be examined, discussed and put into a proper context.
Any other approach would be an abdication of responsibility to our young people.

You're not really debating whether the impact of porn should or should not be taught in schools.
I think we've all got a bit sidetracked.
As part of a social studies initiative (non-mandatory), do you think that the impact that porn has on society is a worthwhile subject for schoolchildren?
I'm glad you posted other links though, because it demonstrates the way the Daily Mail has twisted the story.

Sort of...on any computer using parental controls, you can limit which sites are accessibly, even down to what time of day that certain sites are accessible.
The problem with many of these gateway programs is that they are reliant on sites being ringfenced by type. It would work perfectly if the Internet was static and no new sites were created, but new sites pop up all the time.
Also, as others have pointed out - smartphones would also need to be locked down. I don't know of any tools that can do that right now.
And the other issue is that teenagers, especially boys, are better at finding porn than the rest of us are at hiding it.

Don't you think it is up to the parents that there is little chance for them to get access to porn, and don't you think that not all children have experienced it?
So those that haven't don't you also think that for them to hear about it from their teacher will think "what's that all about, I must have a look into that"?
Interesting to see that in the Guardian readers poll 2/3rds think the children should be taught about porn, no surprise there then.
Our children's minds have already been corrupted by the modern day liberal thinkers, and there is proof to verify that fact, vast amounts of under aged pregnancies for starters.

The proposals aren't about teaching children about porn per se, in the same way that teaching children about the Falklands conflict isn't an encouragement for children to go to war.
The proposals are for children to be taught about the impact that pornography has on society.
And as to the question of parental responsibility, I would suggest as with sex education in general, parents should be given an opt out if they don't feel it's appropriate for their children's developmental needs. Some kids are are more mature than others, and that should be taken into account.

"its just a trend that originated from simply making it easier to clean themselves up after a shoot... so i heard."
Then you have heard wrong.
Trends and fashions change and move on in the adult industry the same as they do in any other area of culture.
The modern fashion is for male and female performers to remove all body hair - it looks nicer on both sexes.
Any adult set worth attending for a cast will have adequate bathroom facilities for use before and after - so the idea of 'cleaning up' more efficiently is simply a myth.
