The answer would be a definite 'NO', had the remarks been deemed racist, the members of the crowd who issued these remarks would have not only been removed from the proceedings but would have also faced a charge of racism.

I can see the point you are making AOG, but i think your argument is baseless.
this man was ejected as a security measure - it was to avoid distraction of the players. Now you can agree with that or not as a matter of crowd control policy, but that is the reason why he was ejected.
The reason why he was singled out by the crowd was down to his choice of beard and hair length, and nothing at all to do with his ethnicity. His appearence was due infact to his caucasian skin and hair type - so if you wish to take that particular line of debate, he was indeed ejected because of his race and skin colour.
But really the argument does not hold up - had he been of a different ethnic origin, the chant would not have occured, so the point remains baseless - as ChuckFickens pointed out.

I've just noticed something:
You asked:
Would This Man Had Been Ejected Had He Been Of A Different Race Or Skin Colour?
And then answered:
The answer would be a definite 'NO'
And finished by stating what would (hypothetically) happen.
So...ummm...errr...how do I put this...do you need any of us to comment? Or are you happy with your summary of what would happen in the hypothesis you put forward?
If so, could you have a crack at this weekend's lottery tickets for you.
Am happy to split the proceeds 80/20 with you.
No - 90/10.

However, I think it trivialises the issue of racism to compare it to gingerism or even jesusism.
How very dare you sp...................

You put up a more valid argument than the usual trolls, but I must take you up on this
/// But really the argument does not hold up - had he been of a different ethnic origin, the chant would not have occured, ///
He could have been the typical Middle Eastern Muslim with say, long hair, beard and darkish skin.
What if the crowd had then harassed him by shouting Jesus, would he have accepted being escorted from the proceedings, or would he have played the race card?
