If so, they could give him a State funeral (inc the full gun salute for a monarch), thereby have the practice they have been seeking for Her Nibs and then allow the Thatches to gracefully opt out of a State Funeral - there is precedence on the latter as both Florence Nightingale and Benjamin Disraeli were offered a State funeral and their families declined it.
I wonder why information confirming that the remains are those of Richard III have been held back, according to this report they already know?

Oh good grief! This gets worse! Why? Was he religious? He should of course be interred with dignity in a place befitting his historical status, but for goodness sake, how on earth can anyone ‘feel’ they know what he would have wanted?
