All depends on who does the covering up, and what goes off in other religions that we get to know little of.

When such bad things do get reported about Islam for example, some are quick to state "that all Muslims are not the same" yet the way Christianity is constantly criticised especially from atheists, one would think that anyone who supports the Christian faith are either 'nutters' or at worst child sex offenders.

If you check out my post - which is three above yours - you will see my defence of Christians - and I am an atheist, so although 'some' may appear to criticise Christianity, it has nothing to do with not believing as they do.

Don't they carry the bible and preach the word of God?

Whereas I do not have any particular liking for Jehovah Witnesses, the one's I have come to know personally have done me no harm, and one has to admire their commitment.

Just because one doesn't agree with their views doesn't mean that they should be insulted for their beliefs, any more than a person with a different coloured skin should be so insulted for being different.
