Is this not final proof, that no matter what the hand-wringing PC liberals on AB might say, the EDL are capable of attracting members who are willing to engage on discussions on Islam in a calm and considered manner?

a picture is worth a thousand words. (I suppose it's possible he might have had trouble stringing five words together, let alone 1000.)
And coherent, too:

Has much as I dislike the EDL and the hooligans that follow it, to be arrested for a tattoo is bonkers.

If the catoon had featured parliament or a church then it is unlikely that he would have been arrested.
As much as I dislike...
Sorry but as foul and idiotic as this goon appears to be I can't see how it's worse than carrying placards saying "Death to British Soldiers" and calling for Sharia law. Those people weren't arrested, in fact they were protected by the police.
I think that this news article shows just how intelligent the majority of the EDL are

And now a word or three from an EDL Recruitment Officer,

Oops.... good choice Jim ^^^^^^
Shouldn't us PC lefties be wringing our hands and saying "It's not kind to mock the afflicted"?

Okay, okay - let's call time on that particular YouTube clip. As hilarious as it may be, I feel it's time that it was put to rest (at least for a couple of months).

Re: the tattoo...I find it astonishing that a peaceful protest movement such as the EDL could possibly attract someone who would find the destruction of property funn...

...oh, I just can't keep it up....

it's not often that guys will admit that.

I actually thought that the You Tube clip was a fake when I first saw it, I really didn't think there was anybody that dense. But it seems like there are quite a few.

Incidentally - the chap in the YouTube clip is high.

Believe me - I have mates who do drugs...and that's what they sound like when they're 'toasted'.

Check the parts where he leans back and his eyes flicker.

Not booze.

...as a kite.
not sure how one can be arrested for any tattoo, after all some have Jesus saves, or death heads, skull and crossbones writ large, and as much as in dislike these people, no one is immune from stupidity.
I quite like the youtube link actually, and I'm not a bit concerned whether he is drunk or high. What is shows is that he stupid, and that what's counts.
same for the supporters of sharia law and those who constantly spit on Britain, take the benefits, yet hate us.
SP1814...you have some peculiar friends. Perhaps I have led a sheltered life but I don't have any drug addicts for mates.

Perhaps I need to get out more !
I like the two Mr Potato Heads behind the EDL speaker ...they look real intellectual giants !

Both true. Although people on both sides share an equal absence of intellect, the law doesn’t appear to apply equal standards. Something intrinsically wrong there.

(Not relevant, but that must be a ‘stick-on’ tattoo, surely?).
hard to say what it is, but it's strange that they arrest him whilst others with similar messages on the other side of the divide get the protection of the police.
"If the catoon had featured parliament or a church then it is unlikely that he would have been arrested."

Should have gone for parliament and celebrated Great British home-grown terrorism.
