Does anyone else that think that this BNP-lite twit looks like Victor Meldrew ?
Just heard him being interviewed by Naughty on the Today program. There is a phrase that goes something like " when you are in a hole, stop digging" but he seems unaware of what he saying !

It reminds me of when R1Geezer (or whoever it was) used to make cringey attempts at wit - such as referring to Ahmadinejad as "dinner jacket".
UKIP's arguments do not require ridicule to be undermined. They are sufficiently feeble as is.

He is a well known nutter, pi55head and ex Army .
He congratulated the French for sinking the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior, he had to be carted out of the EU parliament for attempting a speak while very drunk and on another occassion starting chanting Nazi slogans at a fellow German MEP.
No wonder the folk of Hull have elected him twice.

Kromovaracun...not sure I was trying to look clever. BNP-lite is a widely used phrase to describe UKIP, and I certainly didn't invent it. They deserve ridicule for having such people like Bloom in their ranks. Seems to fit pretty well into the description that Dave gave them in 2006 though. I shall continue to use BNP-lite as long as they behave like fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists.
Its worth bearing in mind here, that without Proportional Representation, it is unlikely that any of them would be in the European Parliament at all.
Bongo bongo land sounded somewhat familiar to me when I saw it on the news this morning and I now realise why. It has been used in the past, by Tories mostly, principally Alan Clark and Nicholas Ridely. So things haven't changed much of late have they ?

For anyone who may not have read all of Mikey's link above, Alan Clark - a Thatcherite minister - used exactly the same words, "bongo bongo land", in 1985 to describe Africa.
Not too hard, then, to see the similarities between Tory and UKIP thinking. Having said that, long may their differences reign!

Alan Clark, apart from the appalling treatment of his wife was quite a sensible chap, he wouldn't allow fox hunting on his land, for that alone i liked him, and having read his diaries, very very entertaining, i can understand why the ladies liked him and vice versa, but his lovely wife must have gone though hell.
well he is on tee vee now (Channel 80)
It is worth a million votes - for UKIP !
"I know I have upset G journos but I am paid to do that.
Where is Bongo Bongo Land ? Same place as Rurtiania or the Third World."
[I have to say he is making mince meat of the interviewer]
Giving money to charity is a choice - this is a tax which is taken by force of law.
as the mince meated guy [Beeb interviewer] is saying most of the emails
er well is supportive....
Those transatlantic limeys (Yanks of course) would say: the interviewer was handed his a+se.
