That is true the only people knowing are two involved - having said that don't know how Le Vell came through it as people have killed themselves for lesser.
I'm quite surprised by posts on here saying they are "surprised" or "pleased" with the verdict. Can i ask why that is? Do you know him personally?
what do you think happens to victims when their abusers, rapists get away with it, some self harm, some don't recover and go into mental decline, and some kill themselves.
I'm not 'surprised' or 'pleased' but now he has been found not guilty I hope he can get his life back on track..
I do too, craft. I hope they all can.
^^ Me too.

it can, and destroy your ability to form relationships, and lead to a lifelong
cloud, can't find the right words here.

i wouldn't let that happen, but it doesn't ever go away.
I don't know who's guilty and who isn't. I do, however think it absolutely shocking that the CPS put all parties through this without any evidence. That is criminal.

voulezvous - there are a lot of criminal convictions where there has been no physical evidence. Stuart Hall is one recent example.
Indeed, hc4361, that is true, but he decided to plead guilty rather than go through it. (I rather hope he did that to spare his victims any further pain, but doubt it) He was too busy hiding the money for his family.

And there is rarely real evidence in any rape case, especially if the accused admits to having sex with the victim but claims it was consensual.
I hope he takes the lying bitch to court for libel!!!
I don't know, it doesn't sit easy with me, this one. Not guilty is only "presumed" innocence in the eyes of the law, not enough evidence to be certain of guilt beyond all reasonable doubt.

I wonder at the people who speak as if they know him and why the interest in who the victim was. I am glad she has lifelong anonymity, as other do rape victims.

They are difficult cases, often with no real evidence and one person's word against each other.
There is nothing to suggest that she was lying, carrust...
I'm sure he was more than a little relieved but I found him and his family's reaction outside of court very distasteful.
Why was he found not guilty then? JTH
