Its Seems Ok For Muslims....
...to be able to preach hatred outside Mosques in the UK and try to disrupt our soldiers marching through Towns but, when one person makes a comment on FB she could face prosecution.
I know it was a stupid thing to do but surely it works both ways!

I don't suppose anything will come of someone on facebook hoping hundreds of muslims had drowned off of Iitaly. And so it shouldn't.
It is a horrible thing to wish for, but there is no law against being an horrible person. Wishing someone dead because they do not belong to the same religion as you is pretty vile and I hope she gets a hard time off of her friends, but if she genuinely thinks, that, then the law should not be invoked.
As for muslims preaching hate outside mosques, well they don't. Outdoor speeches are monitored and the police and they can stop them if they become illegal. No one is ever arrested, because the law is not broken.
No muslim group has ever tried to stop soldiers marching through towns. They may have made protests by the side of the road about invading muslim countries and killing thousands of civilians in those countries, but they have not tried to stop any homecoming parades.

They do not. If there are preachers of hate, and I suspect there are, they are not dumb enough to preach in public in full view and hearing of anyone. The indoctrinate in private, in small rooms, probably to just a few 'followers'.
But any fanatic does not have to be preached at on the street, to turn them. The internet is full of religous hate whether it comes from highly financed mullahs in Saudi Arabia, or evangelists in the US.

gromit...I am sure I remember a Muslim preacher, having to preach in the street outside the Mosque, because he was banned from the Mosque itself. Wasn't it that chap with the hook ?
But your central point stands....most of the hate preached seems to be on the internet, which is a difficult or impossible to control.

Yes, that is what I was refering to when I said the police monitor open air speeches. Hamza was prosecuted but (I don't think) it was for anything said in public. At yhe trial we learned of his links to the security services....
