Police officers found to be lying yet again! If they're willing to stitch up a senior Tory MP, what chance have ordinary members of the public got?

With the Met now so corrupt and seeing itself as above the law, does anyone still think it's fit for purpose?

Wouldn't trust one as far as I could throw one !
^ Is that the Met Pollice, or the BBC, mm? Please answer as we feel the public have a right to know. ;-)
The polis nibs !
is that all the Met, you think they are all corrupt, how on earth then do they function,
police v politicians, one of those fights where you don't really want anyone to win
What an astonishing waste of time and money ... and I agree with jno too :)
\\\\what chance have ordinary members of the public got? \\

This group of people are "no big deal"........."stitching them up"...no kudos...what a waste of time.

Now, posh boy, public school, Chief Whip in a serving government.....that's the lad to stitch up, particularly if your Political persuasion is to the left of centre.

So us "ordinary mortals" are "small potatoes."
In view of the aforementioned statement, mm, might i point you in the direction of:

• Assault on a police constable in execution of his duty – Section 89 Police Act 1996;
This offence occurs when an offender assaults either a police officer acting in the execution of his or her public duty or someone helping them in this duty. The assault does not result in any serious physical harm and includes acts like pushing and shoving. The injuries sustained are equivalent to those for common assault - if more serious injuries were inflicted, then a more serious charge, like ABH, would be brought. The new guideline gives a sentencing range of a fine up to 26 weeks imprisonment for this offence. The maximum penalty for this offence is six months imprisonment.

As this would include the above as far as I could throw one !, ;)
I stand chastised nibs.as far as I could spit !...lol
£80 fixed penalty notice for that as well, mm, but only in some areas.
you could do it while they're fibbing and fitting people up, Nibble, that's not in the execution of their duty.
As far as I could walk in louboutin heels !
Surely, that's covered by further investigation of "their" inquiries, jno, however, heanous they seem to us mere "plebs".
Plebs ? Plebs ? Who said that ? Ed we need an enquiry ! Lol
I'm sure tossing them across the street while they're framing people is covered by an exception somewhere, Nibble, probably the same one that says it's permissible for a lady to wee in a policeman's hat on Sundays.
Honest, it was a fit-up, guv, never "said" a thing.....

I wan'my brief.

withholding anything else until I've received further legal representation
No, jno, that's just [i]helping "them" with their enquiries[i]
And who would each and every one of you call if, say, your family was holed up and under threat from local thugs?
No one would claim there are no bad apples among a substantial body of people, but don't you think it absurd to condemn every single member of any such group?
As he is probably considered a Tory toff by the liberal elite of the Met I suspect the rest of us have a much better chance.

Much as i dislike most rozzers they do have a sometimes rather difficult job to do and I am not sure tarring all with the same brush is entirely appropriate.

A lot of comment from people who dont have their heads on.

The storm is over the meeting with the Police Fed
erm wh he taped (as he is allowed to do without notice)

It is quite clear what was said inside (tape and transcript)
and quite clear what th e Fed said outside

and the two dont match.

I mean with the Dip protection group waiting outside 10 Downing St,
David Cameron really doesnt need Arab terrorists, innit ?
