Let's get this right scorp
so you have such little respect for the Rule of Law
you are prepared to delegate the delivery of undefined 'punishment' to whatever mentally ill person or 'low life' this particular mentally ill person or 'low life' happens to be sharing a Wing with.
Why not go the whole hog? Have him stoned to death by a screaming mob
You could probably make a few bob selling tickets

Andy-hughes, I have been a member of answerbank for many years (unfortunately, I had to change my original name) and have agreed with and admired many of your posts. However, suggesting that there is some sort of competition as to who would dish out the most horrendous punishment, rather offends me. I respect your view on how you think he should be dealt with, by I, for one, and I don't think I'm alone, hope that all three of these evil excuses for human beings suffer for the rest of their miserable lives, hopefully in prison.

So who has determined that he / they are mentally ill ?.

Zeuhl, as I said, this man may gain some sick satisfaction from what he has done and is not necessarily mentally ill. My opinion is that I hope this man suffers for what he has done. Surely, he is the one with no respect for the Rule of Law? I certainly did not refer to 'low lifes' and feel you remarks about stoning and selling tickets were totally uncalled for.
If he and the two 'mothers' are deemed mentally ill then they will be taken to a place where they will receive all the medical help they need and be protected. OK, fair enough. If it turns out that they are just evil and knew exactly what they were doing to the baby, then if and when they are put away, I hope they spend the rest of their lives in misery.
Oh, and I do have every respect for the law. Which is why I haven't ripped the head off the person that assaulted my daughter.

My gut reaction is to lock him up for good, and the same for those that allowed their babies to be part of it.
My thoughts on thinking it over are exactly the same.
I for one hope he rots in hell. Some people are beyond redemption, and no well meaning "he must be mentally ill" defence will change my mind. I also think I speak for the majority.

No one could fail to be disgusted and horrified, in fact I fail to find words to adequately describe my feelings regarding these three people. If this guy is mentally ill I'd bet my sweet life it's due to drug abuse. Drugs numb senses and takers have to keep going to more extremes to get an effect. So what about the women - are they druggies or groupies or both? He was shaking when the verdict was announced - aww shame. I wonder how many youngsters lives he's wrecked.
The only shred of humanity I see in the man is that he eventually plead guilty. Sparing the jury from actually having to see what he had done. It didn't spare those kids, though, and we have yet to see the fate of their mothers, who cannot be named for legal reasons. (probably to protect the kids). A long sentence for all concerned is all our courts can do. Let's hope they actually do that.

Why not Zeuhl? It's a forum and we are here to discuss.
Why not shout your outrage, if this is where you can vent it? To be fair it wasn't even that strong, compared to things I've seen said elsewhere. We are shocked and horrified and venting a little, but hardly baying for blood. It's been quite refined IMO.
