According to the latest reports, investigators are theorising that the airline was hijacked, and flew for another seven hours after communications were disabled.*

Okay, if that's the case, surely someone out of all the plane's passengers could have called or texted someone at home?

(*I assume by 'communications' they mean the plane's communications lines).

Thoughts?

sp, I don't think they have had navigators since Satnavs were invented. It wouldn't be difficult for one pilot to disable the other if necessary, either with drugs or worse.
Isn't the bulkhead door lockable from the inside to prevent terrorists entering, - wouldn't it work equally well to keep the good guys OUT?
Apparently so..Since these modern planes can fly and land themselves I have wondered why they can't be commanded to land at a suitable airfield by the airline (from the ground) when dodgy things happen.
