Very tragic. Will it never end? These poor babes have no chance at all.

its like a weekly occurrence now, maybe someone will post a link, thanks
How awful. Any idea what happened? I haven't seen it.
Cot death? Murder? Have you got a link?
Cross-posted mamyalynne. thank you.
Thanks mamya. Something violent, then. Poor child.
Apparently she drank methadone .Given to her in her feeding cup!!!!!!!!!!!
When are we going to wake up to the drugs problem in this country.
I think that was little Sophie Jones last month Andres - not this one.

Tragic all the same.

thanks mamy......................she died of serious injuries,,,,,,,,,,,these tragic cases don't even make headline news, have we become so used to hearing about them that they are loosing the impact they once did.
First thing when all the investigations are in is to ensure that those particular people are rendered unable to reproduce ever again.
That is so sad, how can anyone do things like that to an innocent child. May she rest in peace in heaven, and may they rot in hell.
Anne, it may well be headline news tomorrow, poor mite only died yesterday.

I doubt any of us fail to be shocked by such cases however often they occur.
Thanks Mamy---I got the wrong one . Makes me feel sick when I hear of these vile crimes.
Truly awful , yes.
Is it happening more often nowadays or is it being reported more?
I think everything is reported more, ummmm. It's a tragedy whether it's one or ten, though.
Question Author
I may be wrong, and im not referring to this case as we have no details, but I believe the increase in drug abusers/alcoholics who are allowed to keep their children , plays a factor .
From a quick google - about 53 children a year are killed by their parents (including stepparents/adopted). The same numbers for the 1960s.
In England and Wales.
