What is this country coming to when everyone has to think if certain actions may cause offence?

Should all newspapers of any particular political association, be burnt because in their past they may have reported unwisely on an event on which they reported many years ago?

I know..... :-)
Those that didn't receive a copy probably had them put straight in the nearest bin after the Posties left the sorting office.
I would have done, had I had one, but I'm in Wales so didn't get one!!! I learned a long time ago, before Hillsborough, that the Sun prints lies. I wouldn't have the rag in my house.
Ah, The Sun, the newspaper with the biggest circulation in the country

Snobs who wouldn't lower themselves to read it are probably the same who wouldn't be seen dead in Aldi/Lidl
wrong, JL - I know many people who wouldn't read the Sun, who happily shop in Aldi (as do I).
Ours will be recycled.
Joe...the reason that I don't "read" the Sun is because I am a reasonably educated person, and I wouldn't find anything of interest therein, except perhaps to find out who is running in the 15.30 at Kempton Park, and maybe what is on the TV tonight.
mikey......so only uneducated people read The Sun?
I don't see many copies on the train going up to London in the morning, if that's an indicator....
so. it it monkies or monkey's ?
The Sun isn't really a paper you "read" is it? :-)
You look at the pictures and laugh at the headlines

Mind you the Hillsborough thing is getting a bit silly now surely. The whole Miliband story and subsequent apology stuff is so dispiriting

If you are the reasonably educated person that you say you are, wouldn't you first have to read something before you found it uninteresting, or do you make your decisions merely on say so?
