Why Hasn't The Bbc Apologised Over Harris?

Apparently he is worth £11m. Most of that came from the BBC. But they have been silent on the issue. Yet with Savile they couldn't apologise fast enough. Do they still see him as an asset or something?

He made a tv series for Australian tv in 2010 (Penguin Island), followed by a Channel 4 series Jamie's Dream School, then the Channel 5 series Rolf's Animal Clinic.

He was honoured by the Australian Recording Industry Association in 2008. If it were so well known in the industry in the UK and Australia that he was a molester why did these companies employ him and give him accolades?

He certainly did not make the majority of his money from the BBC. He has made money from his music and paintings, adverts, independent tv channels, concerts, personal appearances, sponsorship (Dulux for one).

He is one of the best selling living artists.

I didn't much care for him, but was entertained by his tv appearances. I was a child then. I'm not going to apologise for that. Why should anyone? No one had any idea about all of this.

I think that the BBC is such a big juggernaut that if you say celebrity N Entity's fortune came from it, you are bound to be correct...
