And the Tories 'lead' is 1%...I thought that generally meant that they were neck and neck with Labour (given margin of error on polls).

So...why do we think UKIP support has fallen so drastically?

And before naomi points it out, which she won't of course, on this front page Labour is ahead by 3,5,3,4,7 points. Still no sign of dave being ahead in YouGovs Polls, but I promise I will post a Tory-ahead YouGov Poll as soon as I see one.

To answer AOG, this Poll in today's Guardian only shows dave ahead because of the predicted collapse of UKIP. And the Tories are only in the lead by 1 point, so....... no huge sea change yet for dave.

SP...people have finally come to their senses and realised that voting UKIP is a waste of time. Voting for UKIP will achieve nothing, while voting for Labour or the Tories will. Simple and not too difficult to work out !

It is sp. As I've maintained all along, UKIP would only ever be a protest vote - specifically about the EU. For the general election the vast majority of people will revert to their usual team.
I still predict UKIP will struggle to win a single seat.
