The kid has a brain tumour - his parents have removed him from hospital and have taken him to France......surely that is their legal right? The hospital has triggered an enormous police search on either side of the Channel.
I am not debating the right or wrongs of this, though it's coming to light that they may well be Jehovahs (with an Islamic name for the kid), just questioning the legality of the hospital to impose without a court order.
Perhaps the hospital is in the process of getting a court order. I do worry as it appears the child can only be fed through a tube and the parents are not trained in how to do it. If they try to remove his feeding tube they could cause some quite serious damage.
This is a difficult one to comment on really , they have the right to do as they think right for their child - but as he needs so much care it seems wrong the way they have done this.
He has a feeding tube in place though B00 so if they don't bring him back for treatment he may weaken and die from starvation. I have not seen any report that he is terminal, they would have said so if he was.
