I'm with Farriercm here...all that "Whir, whir, whir", etc will be coming from the opposition front bench, at least for a few years. I said he will be the Tories next Leader, not our next PM !
Ah...understand now. But not many...only 8 out of 40. The Tories are still "about as popular in Wales as a Rat Sandwich" to quote a previous Plaid Cymru Leader. My avatar prophesied the waxing and waning of the Tories
"Tories are like rats you know...you think you have got rid of them but they always come back "
Shame that a non Welshman had to translate for a Welshman. Anyway, I thought that a rat sandwich would be a luxury for you, makes a refreshing change from all that 'Cawl' and 'bara brith'!
Mikey, you haven't thought this through and clearly the subject of your avatar didn't think it through either. 'Why do they always come back?', is the question you should be asking yourself. There has to be a reason. Now let me think.... What could it be?
Whatever you say Naomi, here in Wales the Tories have been emasculated by the legislation that came in after the Blair landslide victory of 1997. Never again will Wales be ruled over by a Tory Governor General, coming over the Severn Bridge every few years, with the ostrich-plumed hat sitting on the passenger seat of the ministerial limo.
Remember the Mekon ? He was the one that was more popular than the rodent-flavoured snack :::
It certainly doesn't! You picked me up because you didn't understand the most basic of Welsh which I posted, and now you're mocking an Englishman for not knowing the words of the Welsh anthem. I repeat; "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau", "Old Land of my Fathers".
