Ched Evans, Is He A Victim Here, Too?
I wouldn't have thought so, but others seem to think differently.

I don't mind what it's called, Zeuhl.....but rape is not always accompanied by violence and physical force....it's still rape with all that comes with being raped.....
So for me it would have to be two charges if violence was involved....otherwise we are going to have people...usually men but not always ....thinking that there are ways of raping which aren't so bad.....
I know men are raped too....but it usually happens to a female so maybe that's why it seems difficult for some men to appreciate how rape with no violence feels.....x

Yet another one of those cases where the same question arises...what did she think she was going to be doing at hotel at that time of night etc etc with pro footballers...genial chat?
and no im not saying she expected to or deserved etc be raped or assaulted or whatever , but what exactly did she think was going to be the outcome of the night
This footballer wasnt the only one at the hotel either and she knew it before she went there...just saying

in that case, stop calling it rape
clearly it lacks clarity and is unhelpful in distinguishing between crimes of non-consensual sex and those which also feature violence and physical force

"I'm more surprised that some don't. "
Thats easy to answer if you knew some of the girls that get involved with some of these footballers...lets just say they have reputaions that are well know, and some players wont go near them with a bargepole.
The players from the team I knew were mostly ok, but there were a couple who used to go for it big time and really couldnt care less, one of them at the time was an England international.
This is how bad it can get...I walked into the club one Wednesday night and it was after a home game and a few of the oppo (Arsenal ) were also in.
A girl I knew was all over said England player, shed had a couple of drinks, that was obvious....player nipped out to the toilet and I said to her do you know who that is ?, she replied "no".... "but he does play football doesnt he ?"
I didnt need to follow them when the place closed because everybody knew which local hotel the players used to go back to, a no questions asked place.
wonder what she went to the hotel for ? to chat about his career...i dont think so.
That was the player that on the Thursday had sufffered a "reaction" in training and wouldnt be playing on the Saturday and he didnt play.
