Was He Being Racist And Is It Racist.
This is the cartoon that was on Mario Balotelli's Instagram account, my personal opinion is its the opposite, hes telling people to like everyone regardless of where they are from, is it a fuss about nothing and are people being over sensitive. ?

As OG says, it's in the intent. He's just a little misguided.
Yes, the issues about Jews and money/finance etc will always be present. There are plenty of Jewish comedians who have reems of material on the subject.
I saw(Jewish comedian) one recently who was supporting Tom Stade(name escapes me) but half his act was about Jews and money.
I'm Welsh, jokes about the Welsh and fornicating with sheep will always be out there somewhere.
I took enough banter about it whilst in HM Forces, some people just need to lighten up a little and not be offended by every, single reference to something with which they've always been linked.

Andy is right - if he doesn't get a good adviser (wife) or advisers around him. Without them, what Andy describes is one of the scenarios he could slide into.
Look at David Beckham as someone with amazing brains in his feet but has the glorious Victoria around him (though I can't stand the way she always seems to be 'ultra'-serious) and their PR team around them.
I bet someone advised Balotelli as to the school, and as to kids, many sports stars can be really good with them. Wit Tiger Woods on kids - I've seen that at first hand in Dallas - though his overall image has suffered; no wonder, as, boy, can he be temperamental on the golf course, something many don't like....and then there was the Pebble Beach incident over Payne Stewart, for which Jack Nicklaus took him aside and read him the riot act.

I've only seen one positive "He's Racist" post so far, based I guess on bigotry and ignorance on the part of the poster about Balotelli's relationship with Jewish people!

I lack the ability and knowledge to comment on Balotelli's abilities, or indeed absence of them, in footballing terms, but I stand by my observation in terms of his apparent immaturity.
Gascoigne was seen as a 'loveable clown' in his days of fame and skill, but the immaturity that defined his off-field behaviour was exactly the same as Balotelli produces now - stupid childish behavioue which would not be tolerated among people were he less of the cash cow that he currently is.
But that time is finite, and come the day when he is simply an irritating boorish numpty, and not a numpty who can play football, he will go the same was as Gazza - where are the people who thought him a 'loveable clown' now?

Why would they?
As a Samaritan, I adopted the same approach to anyone and everyone i dealt with - I offered nin-judgemental sympathy and empathy because that is the role of the counsellor - and believe me, when you heard some of the things I heard, maintaining that constant level of sympathy and empathy was stretched beyond breaking point.
But that was then, and more importantly- there.
Here I am an AB'er like anyone else, and I don't have to park my opinions at the front door for four hours, i can express them here in a debate, like anyone else.
Would I even dream of voicing my opinions to either Mr Balotelli or Mr Gascoigne were i to meet them face to face? No I would not.
