Why is it that if you don't condone the actions of these women you are presumed to be anti Breastfeeding? I am a great supporter of breastfeeding, have fed all four of my children but don't agree with the original woman who kicked up a fuss in Claridges, nor do I agree with the silly demonstration this woman's supporters thought necessary. Its for publicity but...
Sqad I disagree, they are typical of the well-heeled 'can afford to stay at home ' mummies /bored housewives who have to occupy their time in some way while their over worked hubbies do 'overtime' at the office.
Picture No.1 the woman in the yellow cardigan, on first seeing it I thought 'now that is going too far' until on closer examination I saw it was the baby's head. :0)
Mamylynne -why say someone is winding you up? Because they don't have opinions the same as yours.? Some people genuinely find a woman breastfeeding in a public place inappropriate -you may not agree but should respect others differing opinions without rudeness.
We see far worse on the beach in the summer - nobody riots when people sunbathe topless, even posh people do it :-) I'm sorry for the delicate Claridges customers who object to babies being fed while they are eating their cucumber sandwiches. I support these mums all the way.
